Aruba was all kinds of awesome. Carnival 59, hiking and almost dying, sunrise guitar sessions, late night hangouts with friends & family and last but certainly not least, my baby. She met the parents, they loved her. She met my friends, they loved her. I showed her Aruba, she loved it! And I loved every single moment of her being home with me.
Nothing beats having some ice cold beers and fresh Aruban fish at Zeerover.
T-minus 7 days and I’ll be on my way to Aruba. I seriously cannot wait to switch from a snow covered everything and winter boots to white beaches and flip flops. And the best part of this all is that my honey boo boo is joining me! A while ago she put in a request to work on my flight and it got granted. The perks of dating a flight attendant! Needless to say I am beyond excited.
Driving around with some Datapanik on the island I call home. Soon!
I can’t get enough of you. It’s something in the water, I swear. One would think 1 week is too short of a time to fully enjoy what the island has to offer. I beg to differ. Although the reason for my trip to Aruba was yet again a sad one, I have to say that the things that happened this week definitely top previous trips, good gracious!
Aruba, I love you, I’ll miss you and can’t wait to see you again in 3 weeks.
Home sweet (new) home. And just like that I’m back on the island of Aruba.
